I used to see it all the time on leddit before I migrated to lemmygrad after the genzedong quarantine.
Love how fucking powerless that "dunk" is, since Taiwan don't and never will have the power to claim the mainland no matter what the US has to say about is. "They think that by changing the name of a thing, they are changing the thing itself" as the quote goes.
The US doesn't say anything about it, they say the opposite if anything. Even they're not the stupid.
They also don’t want to. Taking over the mainland is usually associated with the KMT which is ironically the PRC’s preferred party in power because they both want one china. What that looks like is TBD. But the libs in charge usually want Taiwan to be independent, consider it independent, or want to stay in this limbo for whatever reason
