just like sportsball.. when your team is winning "we're winning!" but when your team is losing "they're losing"
Or like being Algerian (Moroccan?) on a French team; I recall one player saying when they win, he's French, when they lose, he's Algerian.
You beat me to it. I think this was Zinedine Zidane.
From what i remember, a lot of european footballers have a quote like that. Mesut Özil also said something similar when he played for the German national team.
“I am German when we win, but I am an immigrant when we lose”
