I think the IT leadership believes the contracts that say the tech companies that stole a fuckton of training data won't use the shit you feed the AI as training data. lenin-dont-laugh

the company i work for uses ai HEAVILY.. and does a shit load of data crunching and hoovering and all that because it's a market analysis company. though we have the contracts with the companies that our data is safe from the ai companies, nobody is under the illusion that those contracts are worth a fuck.

you'd never be able to prove they were using it so there's nothing you can do. and if you could, well then you can sue.
