Do the wizards also gas their bananas? The choice of fruit here implies that wizards are bound to the limitations of modern farming and container shipping. The common prevalence of bananas in the real world boils down to a pile of technical limitations on growing and importing fruit.
So, wisards shit in the corner of the room they're in and then magically teleport their shit somewhere. The place they teleport it to is now full of potent wisard shit chemicals. That's where they grow their banana trees.
Probably the same place the servants sleep.
