I'm not saying there is no fury or that violence might be unavoidable. But I'm saying it should be avoided if possible and that starts with calling for justice, not murder.

The law protects these people while condemning petty thieves and desperate poverty.

There is no legal justice coming for these people, because they are so powerful that they are figuratively in the room when the laws are written. Many people (myself included) are now at the point that they can no longer expect this justice, because they've been calling for it, fruitlessly, for the entirety of their adult lives. Calls for violence, like this one, are what naturally happens when a population has inevitably lost all faith in the systems of power to deliver equality or fairness. These are desperate times, calling for desperate measures.

While I don't want the guillotine or any other lethal punishment to be used in anger, I realise that it might happen if things continue this way. We've already seen one of these financially obese people assassinated recently. And I do hope that CEO has the fear of god put in him. It might do him some good.
