Chapotraphouse

I have been able to be an open communist at work up to this point. My chef played in punk bands and washed dishes until he had a kid and a government grant for a chef course came along. I saw his band open for DOA when I was 14. We have a lot of friends in common and he hates getting a 'yes chef'. People who kiss ass are a red flag and the guy has been going really off script often. Like, he was making g our roasted Brussels sprouts app and I saw he was deglazing with wine, mentioned we use lemon juice on that and he said he figured wine would work better with the garlic. There is no garlic in that fucking dish. Instead of doing what ive told him to hes decided to do random weird shit. He doesnt seem to understand that I am the boss of him. Probably cause I dont treat my bosses like they're my bosses and often tell them literally 'youre not the boss of me' cause ive been working here for 5 years. Hes been around for a month. I have earned mt ability to call shots. The people technically above me love that im the one willing to boss people around. I run the micro and generally people are happy about it. The sous chef and I sre really good friends and we have split those duties. He is the first mate and im the quartermaster if it was a boat. I run a loose ship cause I trust everybody to do theor job well. Theyre great at it. Except this guy who wants to rock my boat
