I wouldn't trust whatever is holding it to the wall long term.
Why not? Wall mounted toilets like this are super common here in Europe and there’s never an issue. The big advantage is that you can more easily clean underneath them.
What you don’t see is that the toilet isn’t actually held up by the wall itself. There’s a steel frame inside the wall linke this.
As I'm currently building myself a house I can tell you that the wall mounted toilets are rated for 400kg at the tip,the furthermost from the wall, of the bowl.
That's only 3 USAians if they are static.
Get 250kg (combined) humping reverse cowgirl and see what forces you get.

OK. It just seems like unnecessary engineering for the small advantage of being easier to clean under.
It's really just a steel frame that gets bolted to the wall. Further down someone linked to one from Geberit, cost like 120€. It also has the water tank.
Easier cleaning is one thing and the best feature if you don't care about the ecstatics. You can also chose the height freely.

Why? Most commercial toilets are wall mounted and get shat in way more than consumer plinth toilets.
Because, on Lemmy, trust, optimism, and most expressions of positive thinking are seen as weakness, ignorance, or both.
As a disabled dude who sits down on the shitter with the force of a kid literally jumping into bed, I give this toilet 2 visits with my ass before it tears off the wall.

Most consumer toilets are attached to concrete or cinder block walls but home walls are usually wood and drywall.
Not outside of the US they're not.
