Admittedly I don't know how important that symbol is to Buddhism/Hinduism, but I think I'd be pretty upset if they banned my religious symbols because of fash crackers that I had nothing to do with
Well, you could always ask the Palestinians what they think of the blue star of David
. The star of David is an important religious symbol under which a genocide has been and currently is being done.

Nope, but the europeans sure did one under that symbol in both configurations
it seems like a lot of you are coming at me because you think I'm against the Buddhist use of the swastika, which is not the case. I simply don't trust anyone in the west who uses it, be they Buddhist or otherwise
Why should they erase their own culture because europeans systematically massacred people under a symbol that has the same shape. They did it under every shape you can think of.
never did say anything about them erasing their culture, but when you're in the west where it's primarily recognized as a hate symbol you could exercise critical thinking.
