Since God doesn't exist the real question is "As a child of your parents, what's your next move?" And answer to that question tells a lot about the person.
What if one's parents are POSes and one had to mature independently from their influence, or simpler, if one has no parents?
What would Captain Janeway do?
Okay bad example she'd totally gank the money and run off if it meant more coffee what would Captain Hair do? Or what kind of log entry would Captain Sisko delete about it?
