I asked in the too afraid to ask subreddit if people would be prepared to give Trump a pardon for the Epstein stuff if in return he ended all genocides and wars, and at first the post got deleted and I was told to post it in the politics megathread (which clearly no one reads), so I did and obviously almost no one read it, except for one person recently who had all this to say.
He kept making excuses for why he wouldn't want to pardon Trump in return for ending American backed genocides and wars, and I finally put one final response that puts aside his concerns to see if the lives of the people in the global South have any value at all; he's made recent replies to others but hasn't replied to this last point.
Libs really don't give a damn about the lives of people in Africa, the Middle East, South America or Asia, do they?
I hope for victory for the DPRK against the Imperialist menace; the Kim family had the right of it.
The fact you would even ask such a strange question like that raises more questions that I frankly don't want to know the answer to. Posting this is a self-own on your part.
Honestly the reason I put this up is because we've seen Trump murder fishermen off the coast of Venezuela, commit horrifying war crimes in Iran, and support Israel's genocide, and yet the thing libs keep talking about is the Epstein stuff; they're momentarily upset about all this and then they're back to clamoring about the Epstein crimes. People are losing their families and libs barely seem upset about it, and I keep being haunted by some of the posts I've seen of libs openly saying they don't care about what happens to people in 'dictatorships', and I guess I was seeing if they'd admit to being fine with the deaths of people in the global South. I'll back off on this line of questioning, clearly I've pursued this matter in a silly manner and there's no point in pushing on this. (just gonna copy paste this as well to some of the folks who responded to at least offer some explanation as they won't necessarily revisit this post)
OK. With that context it's way better and I see where you're coming from, thanks! I think you're doing yourself a disservice by framing these as either-or and this framing actually gives liberals an easy out. I get that you're contorting your point in an attempt to try to get around liberals' self-denial, but Liberals will not acknowledge that they're racist white-suprmacists (or at least, America First national chauvinists) so indirectly. Nor will they (usually) when presented that fact directly. I have chosen to just stick with bludgeoning them with their own fascist ideas so that I don't get twisted and manipulated by them
Thanks, honestly I should just stop visiting reddit; I'm subscribed to only a handful of subreddits (LSC, funny and a few others) and I keep bumping into liberals who as you correctly point out won't acknowledge they're white supremacists; LSC is mostly free of libs, but they slink in from time to time (like those defending Platner's war crimes (and who when pushed, say they don't believe the SV allegations against him))
