It's not subscribing to the same subreddits it's IP, cookies and device fingerprinting bullshit. Open it in a new browser on a VPN and you'll probably be fine, but then you run into more Reddit Fun Bullshit: you're effectively shadowbanned everywhere until you get to some arbitrary comment karma level.

I clear my cookies after every browser session and already use a VPN, so it must be the fingerprinting then. I also don't want to use a separate browser just for Reddit.

There's probably ways to obfuscate the device fingerprinting but without adhd meds i am very lazy, too lazy to look it up 😔 good luck tho

if you use the same browser and PC/are on the same IP address, you'll probably eventually catch another perm ban for evasion

i got away with it for a few months a couple of times

damn, my account has lasted a month so far

this is probably junk thought but i'd say interacting in different subreddits helps you fly under the radar. after all they surely can't ban everyone with an iphone 8, my ip address also changes a lot
