buddy, you're describing capitalism and using AI as a scapegoat. AI data centers should not be built in the US, the developers are doing shoddy, harmful, and pollution. the capitalist class is desperate to dismantle whatever labor power we have left because they see the writing on the wall.
I'm not saying anyone should use AI or suppress their distaste for it, but a crisis of overproduction coupled with the other mounting contradictions means we have a brief window where the working class has a fighting chance take control of its own destiny. living inside the crisis is scary, that's the whole point. that's how they control us and keep us down.
capitalism is inherently unstable, this crash was always going to happen. the question is whether we're prepared to sweep the leg after our big wet boy has smacked himself upside the head.
