I've seen a marxist analyst talk about the peace deal between Iran and US and I'm now mostly convinced.

Iran was so insistent on Lebanon being included on the agreement so that, when Israel inevitably violated the peace treaty (that is not finalised yet, which is probably why Israel is breaching it so fast), the US, deeply reluctant on continuing this very unpopular and unsuccessful attack, would hesitate to back them up for once, allowing for more or less one on one fighting between Iran and Israel. Hopefully things stay like this and Iran crushes Israel.

Of course, that remains to be seen, especially with the rhetorical turn that Trump has done this last few days concerning honouring the reparations it promised Iran. But I think this can be, maybe, the first time US abandons Israel.
