Ya. I could absolutely see a talking point in the future being like, "How was he supposed to SA a 13 year old boy when the vast majority of people don't think he could take on an 8 year old." Or that they're just trying to put the idea out there to undermine future Epstein related claims. "Trump did what? Sure he did.
