Funnily enough, my mom was SUPER convinced I was autistic when I was a kid. Now as an adult, I think she was either wrong or either I'm just very very very mildly autistic.

my brother was autistic and the psychologists wanted to evaluate me, but my mom wouldn't let them because as she said many years later 'I didn't want to have to deal with another' which honestly fair enough with a husband that 'had his life and she had hers' traveling for work every week

yeah I don't know what to tell ya. In the early stages of getting my brother evaluated my mom was reading about adhd and was like 'oh that sounds like AOA' so they got me some of those pills
