it's been extremely funny watching them rack up wins with the drone equivalent of a walking target. i'm pretty sure shahed drones are slow enough to stop with like a machine gun. IRGC continuing to just win.

I am an ignorant American but I also find language interesting. Where I'm from we call it a lawn mower and I've never considered the fact that would be because Americans are stupid and think we must have lawns.

Is it called a land mower elsewhere? Is it a translation thing?

I mean that's how they're shooting them down in the UAE. Helicopters with their guns are tracking and then shooting down drones. So you're right.

Could be alluding to the fact that these drones fly quite low for aircraft, reducing their radar detection range.
