Can we collapse the housing market if we scale up this operation?
No because they'd print money or something. Market implies that they are trying to profit from goods and services but the government is just going to use it as a lever for votes and enriching themselves.
Basically, something would have to happen in order for a housing market collapse and nothing ever happens
