I have visited Sinai many times and Jordan twice, the last time in 2021. I didn't feel any hostility toward me or my family. But I didn't dare to open Grindr, let's say. Petra was more neglected than we expected and entrance was expensive (50 dinars per person if I remember correctly), but in general Aqaba in Jordan was stunning. In Sinai in my opinion it is important to take a good hotel because the bad hotels are really neglected and it is not recommended to get stuck in a bad hotel, and it is also important to stock up on sunscreen if you plan to travel a lot. In Turkey (which is not an Arab country) we even met a lovely Iranian couple. I emphasize that all of this was until 2021. In recent years, I haven't left Israel. As long as we didn't raise any political issue, everything was excellent. If you are planning to visit an Arab country, I recommend that you do not open any political issue and do not let anyone raise such an issue with you, it is too explosive and with all due respect if you are not in Israel it is a risk that is not worth taking.

Pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli are not the problem. I say that I am Israeli without a problem. If someone asks or comments, I present my point of view on things directly and try not to wash words. Usually this reassures them that not all Israelis enlist in the IDF and support the government's actions. It gives hope and this is where a conversation can begin. I'm really tired so this time I won't dig. There is no shame in being Israeli, there is shame in being blind to hatred, and this is a difference that we all need to learn. Good night.
