My wife got herself a mug for Christmas and asked if I liked it. I said, "as long as it's dishwasher safe I love it." Wife checks bottom: "Dammit it's not." Me: "Is it at least microwave safe?" Wife: "no..."
My wife loves to buy things that are either not dishwasher safe, or too big to fit in the dishwasher. Then she leaves them in the sink dirty and never washes them. Then those items magically disappear when I inevitably get pissed about the oversized water jug in the sink and throw it out. She will then buy the exact same thing a few months later. I have told her countless times that if she's going to buy things that aren't compatible with the dishwasher, I'm not washing them for her, but she continues to buy them.
Well sounds like you're that guy from the meme feeding rescue cats to coyotes, so she'll keep doing it.
Either you leave them in the sink until they develop their own new biome, or instead of throwing them out, put them on her bedstand. Or her socks drawer. Wherever they are out of your way and in her way. Some people listen, some people need to be shown.
Or even better you save and hide a few of them and when you have a big enough army of minions you place them all over the place. In her way of course.

Some ceramics heat up in the microwave. You have experienced this probably, whenever the bowl is searing hot but the food cold. That's when a thing is not microwave safe.
When it's microwave safe it won't absorb the waves and won't heat up.
how? HOW CAN A MUG NOT BE MICROWAVE SAFE? please tell it isnt cheap plastic
