Honestly, ever since Satanyahoo called Oct 7th "Pissrael's 9/11" and then executed a pre-planned holocaust based on what we now know was an attack that they knew was coming ahead of time (and also helped finance + grow Hamas), I have been much more receptive to this idea.
I always thought that the 9/11 "truthers" were cranks that did occasionally bring up some good points about questionable things that happened, but never really took them seriously.
Now I'm not so sure. Maybe they were just pointing the finger in the wrong direction.
Listen to TrueAnon's episodes on 9/11. They do a very good job going over the background of the people involved, then cover the actual day of, plus all of its oddities. Disclaimer: they're conspiracy-pilled, but honestly I can totally understand where they're coming from.
At the very least, it's a little bit odd that the PATRIOT act was pushed through right after the attack, and in fact was so long that no one had time to read it fully before voting on it. They were either saving it for a rainy day, or... something else.

Most of the truther stuff is nonsense based on their lack of understanding of physics, architecture, and engineering. The reason the towers "looked like a controlled demolition" (for example) is because skyscrapers are designed to collapse inward and down. Otherwise, they'd go sideways into other buildings. Who then crash into other buildings. And now the whole city is in ruins because these giant-ass buildings were large dominoes.
The Loose Change goons tried citing this as irrefutable proof, then called Popular Mechanics a yellow journalism magazine when they did their issue on how 9/11 happened.
Now, whether or not the Bush administration knew about it beforehand and let it happen is another story. Or that the hijackers were from countries not Iraq or Afghanistan. Or Cheney leaving the country on a flight to Saudi Arabia that afternoon when every flight was canceled and every other politician was being moved to secure locations. These are things 9/11 truthers don't really mention other than to say the Bush administration planted explosives in the towers or all the passengers were crisis actors.
IMO they're still Alex Jones adjacent. Like yeah, Alex Jones is partially correct in profits being made every time there's a school shooting. His conclusions, however, and his reasons for those conclusions are flat-out wrong and reactionary.
Netanyahu hasn't been funding hamas. All the sources for that that I've read are other zionazis accusing Netanyahu of funding hamas as baseless accusations because he pays off Qatar for their complicity in Israel's crimes.
Hamas very early on did take payments from Israel. This was while the PLO still existed. That situation has long since changed of course. Hamas has become the legitimate ruling party and decolonial force over time, partially due to PLO's betrayal/defeat during the Oslo accords where they gave up everything for nothing. Now Fatah is the PA we all know and hate, while Hamas is the legitimate party of the masses.
