I'm reminded of a video I watched recently where the youtuber talked about how when hit by an american truck with their big front grill people would get pushed over, or worse under, whereas with more "European" cars they would get scooped up on the hood and it was safer. Something to take into consideration.

The motorcycle (and now boat) channel Fortnine did a video where they did some math to estimate exactly how many more people are dying each year because of giant truck grilles, here.
