I’d never heard of that slur before. The strip is referencing the comic Zippy the Pinhead, so it might be a coincidence. However, from what we now know about Scott Adams plus the stuff that was already racist in Dilbert itself (Elbonia), I wouldn’t give him the benefit of the doubt.
