Just saw some footage today on the news of ice just straight up brown shirting it and made me feel despair. And we're still stuck arguing if Trump is racist or not when his goon squad are doing shit like this.

I really wish I had something positive to say but I don't. Out of curiosity I checked Chuck Schumer's Bluesky account and I went back about 14 days. He didn't mention this shit even once.

Chuck Schumer has openly stated that his main goal is to keep the "left" supportive of Israel and ICE has routinely gone after Pro Palestinian protesters and organizers. He has no issues with ICE actions

I can't quite believe it but it really seems that the democrats campaign spiels for 2026 and 2028 are literally going to include phrases like "The statue of limitations will not have expired in 2029."

i can't think of a better highlight of DNC uselessness that their July legislation to "combat" ICE only went so far as to make them identify themselves... and even carved out exceptions!! i hate them so much it literally hurts

It just makes me sad how resigned to it people I see around are, I overhear people saying like "just a few years and he'll be gone". Say that to the families of immigrants being blackbagged and Venezualans being bombed.

GOP SCOTUS will surely issue a horrible ruling on immigration too: Supreme Court to review rescinded Trump policy of turning away asylum seekers at the border. All of this makes me angry, sick, and tired.
