Last time Lebanon and Israel were at war Israel lost. Hezbollah is better armed and trained now, and Israel is more isolated than ever. Israel is bombing civilian areas now, using terrorism because they cannot effectively stop Hezbollah rockets from hitting targets in 'Israel'. People of Lebanon support Hezbollah and actions against Israel, they aren't being held hostage.

“Every single signatory to this letter treated children in Gaza who suffered violence that must have been deliberately directed at them. Specifically, every one of us on a daily basis treated pre-teen children who were shot in the head.”

I can't load it, only from this instance can I see the posts and no images. Did the Biden-Harris mafia finally take it down?

I love imagining these birds having friends online they can call up whenever haha. Pet birds suffer from loneliness very often so this is fun to see.

The fun thing is it can be both! It's like anti-Black antisemetic conspiracies, the BLM protests were just minorites trickes by Jewish overlords. The students are stupid and brainwashed by the evil Islamic terrorists.

There should be some kind of punishment for knowingly arresting people you can't charge with a crime. This has happened at numerous protests for years, dozens of people arrested, released without a single charge.

Isn't false imprisonment or abduction a crime? The police use this as a disruption tactic, they don't care about the likelihood of actual charges.

Legitimately, there was a revolutionary spirit I could feel that was dissipated when Biden was elected. Motivated people were beginning to turn away from the capitalist status quo, but then Biden wins and the energy became "thank god the adults are back, we can ignore everything again."

Are you trying to destroy America? He may be old but he was not a member of the German National Socialist Party therefore he can't be a nazi, so you better vote for him or we're all dead already.

Fu condemned the implications made by some countries that questioned whether Palestine is a peace-loving state, a criterion for UN membership

Please tell me how tf the US argues they are "peace-loving"?? Just another metric I didn't even know of by which the US is illegitimate

Even as a child I heard that and was like "They hate us because of our freedom? That doesn't make any sense at all, they said we bombed them? That seems more likely the reason"

That's a pretty light way of phrasing "deliberate starvation of entire civilian population"

Hamid my friend its not me and you who are enemies…hopefully one day you’ll see this

I am from Iran and I can never go back. I am a refugee of the Iran Iraq war. You definitely are my enemy and I will never be your friend or accept your friendship. I hate you and everything you represent. خانه‌ام را نابود کردی و اهمیتی نمی‌دهی.

Small detail some might miss, one of the editorial board signatures is Ted Kaczynski.

Brilliant paragraph:

“What of the tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians killed before this attack?” some may ask. Our response is simply that we aren’t going to engage with that because it would be too hard. We also won’t be addressing Palestinians living in refugee camps without access to clean water, electricity, or housing. Others may ask, “Isn’t it your responsibility to provide context, particularly on thorny issues such as this one?” To that, we merely say: No, shut up. You’re being annoying.

It's giving me hope for the future of workers, I'm thinking of deeper effects strikes like this could have. Thousands of people going on strike, a lot of them likely for the first time. If these get results, thousands of people will know first hand the power of class-consciousness and collective action, without relying on voting or petitions but concrete action. It will inspire their views going forward and inspire other workers.

Sorry if this isn't the best place for this question, I browse from lemmy.dbzer0 on firefox and am subscribed to a number of hexbear instances, but there seems to be some that just won't show up from my instance for some reason? In particular !literature@hexbear.net, for whatever reason if I search it just will not show up, other hexbear instances show up fine though. I'm not sure which might not appear other than literature.

Does anyone know if this is caused by my client, my instance, or the literature community limiting it's visibility? I'm a bit new to how the fediverse infrastructure functions.

**EDIT: Thank you for the help y'all, I still haven't got to it lol, I might try FumpyAer's suggestion and maybe it will help others that might have this issue.
