Now I can't create my own soda, which is the best part of fast food soda. Otherwise it's just a shitload of sugar I could've just gotten at the store for cheaper.
Those one-dispenser machines with touchscreens preserve this spirit of alchemy, although they're inherently more gross because different sodas coming out the same hose messes stuff up.
they are also rarely cleaned lol

How often are the older style individual ones cleaned in comparison though, to be fair
