Everyone on RedNote says to use AI for translation and specifically begs westerners not to use Google Translate
I've heard deepl is pretty good though
Deepl is legitimately scary how good it is. Truly one of the only good uses of AI
you ever had a conversation with someone who doesn't speak english and is using google translate?
I’ve had mixed results with both, but when someone’s location is in China, it can be hard to know which people are using translators vs which ones are just speaking English. which AI tool?
Not about Chinese, but DeepL does an amazing job at translating to/from the languages I speak, even idioms and other weird nuances.
Seconding DeepL. AI is actually good at natural language translations
