My problem with all my favorite Misfit songs is the music is so good whils the lyrics are so stupid edgelord shit.

Bullet: yeah I can't send a friend or a partner Glenn Danzig crooning "masturbate me and slurp up all the cum".

Last Caress: gonna do what to someone's mom now? (But then his crooning at the end is just so good with those guitars)

Hybrid moments: basically " love it when you cry and love how you look when you're battered"

Attitude: about beating up a partner

I've been inspired to do some covers of Misfits songs with more appropriately politically targeted violent lyrics than just indiscriminate violence toward women but I haven't gotten around to it because I don't know how to make music in the style I want for that project.
