VW, Tesla and Buicks are more popular in China than Fords. lol, and now they're paying more for them anyway. And Musk would never stop stelling China since he sells so many there. Domestic brands will be dominating without any foreign brands in the top 10 before the end of the decade. There's also the fact that they have useable public transport.

A tepid shell of a husk of a PTSD memory of Buick still exists. There was a point where GM stumbled ass-backwards into making some honestly pretty reliable cars that were dirt cheap to maintain, but those days are looooong gone.

There was a new ad campaign from Buick a few years ago that was centered around how no one thought they were still around or made remotely modern cars

It sure as hell didn't get me to buy one but it was mildly amusing

I read that Buick is marketed/built as a luxury brand in China. But that might be 10 years out of date.
