The Democrats went from starting a civil war because they wanted to keep slavery to whatever the fuck this is. It's almost like there's absolutely nothing redeemable about the Democrats and they should be relegated to the dustbins of history like the NSDAP. At least Republicans have a coolish origin story even if it's completely irrelevant to how they are today.

republican origins are that they hate non-white people (and will use it to get free money)

republicans basically wanted slavery ended because they wanted fewer black people

I really don't think this is accurate. The early Republican party was full of serious radicals looking to restructure society along more just lines. Their party got co-opted (because no demcent Marxism Leninism), but the people who drove the early days of the party were legit and worthy of respect as early fighters for liberation.
