Costco is one of the least-worst private employers. I don't really see how it's "cope" and not just a click bait title that's a cheap shit at drawing attention to this video.

Literally the only reason Costco workers get perks is the unionized stores. They give everyone the same benefits as the union stores as a tactic to discourage further unionization. I used to work for Costco and I have to say it sounded like an effective union busting tactic. I tried bringing up unionizing to some of my coworkers and the general response I got was "why bother? They already treat us pretty good"

they're least worst only because the unions force them to be a responsible employer.

with union busting people in charge of our government; i bet costco's reputation is about to get worse, but it won't matter since places like amazon are notoriously irresponsible employers, yet liberals happily buy from them anyways.

It's conditions are less shitty despite capitalism not due to "mastery" of capitalism. The premise was already flawed.
