I'm pretty sure I've expressed similar sentiments to this before on here, but I won't claim to be the originator of it. I'm pretty sure it comes from Christman's analysis.

I have never believed in any kind of coherent anti-establishment political movement willing to actively commit effective violence coming out of the U.S. any time soon.

Look all I know is that there will be a huge turf war for the UP if stuff starts to break up in the Upper Midwest. And I would bet the lines in the UP will essentially be drawn between Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packer fans, because the culture is very silly up there.
