This is just shitty world-building. Even if you believe North Korea is deeply weird prison country where people eat rats that eat people and push trains, the leadership knows what's going on in the world.
Any veil of intelligence this guy tried presenting went out the window with that comment.
Fifth grade level political analysis in a lib school
I remember as a kid when Saddam Hussein was bad, one of the propaganda things about him was in private he'd wear a cowboy hat and watch US movies. Like that's how they need to Portray Kim Jong-Un. Slipping out of his leader's uniform to put on baggy blue jeans and fire up MTV etc
