Really? A woman in a wheelchair is the hook?

Many of these people struggle for funds to advertise, and this guy turns his ads into attacks.

Sam Adams just looks like a privileged dick.

Local politics doesn't need this dirt slinging. State your position, how you'll approach it and move on.

This year's International ShakeOut Day is October 17, when millions of people worldwide will participate in earthquake drills at work, school, or home!

At 10:17 am (local time) on 10/17, you can join people across Oregon practicing earthquake safety. While we encourage you to participate with everyone, you can register your ShakeOut drill for any day of the year, and drill at a time of your choice. You can also include people in multiple locations through video conferencing

I can't imagine who would be opposed to this that isn't brainwashed by corporations.

If approved, Measure 118 would institute a 3% tax on most corporations’ total sales in Oregon above $25 million and distribute the money equally among residents of all ages and incomes. The system would go into effect next year.

Three days after a just-married Oregon nurse was reported missing, she has been found dead and police have arrested one of her neighbors.

Melissa Jubane, 32, was reported missing on Wednesday after she didn’t arrive for her morning shift as a nurse at Providence St. Vincent Center in Portland, “raising concerns among her coworkers, friends, and family,” the Beaverton Police Department said in a Saturday morning Facebook post.

As someone who lives here:

This is real.

My local Wincos had a self checkout, and only have 1 or 2 cashiers open. They used to have two security guards and three cashiers managing the self checkout, with a massive line of people all the way to the back. It was like that for two years.

Today, I visited and they took the whole thing down, while having 5 checkout lines open. No security guards.

Real pleasant experience.

During jury duty, we got all sorts of shit for even whispering which court room we are going to. We were all numbers and even addressed ourselves as a number. And we were threatened repeatedly with fines and prison sentences.

This motherfucker gets to say whatever the fuck he wants and gets a bunch of verbal warnings and finger wagging.

This is why we lose trust in various govt systems

That's a really good question! Is there a way to look that up?

I was looking at houses in my neighborhood on Zillow and the house was gorgeous, but I rolled my eyes when I saw the old rates.

#3 is accurate! I absolutely eyeballed my salt and hot sauce and did not do things correctly.

Then Surprised Pikachu face when it got moldy.

I absolutely took a in-person workshop and then watched a dozen YouTube videos.

My first batch was awful. Like putrid and rancid.

My second one was edible!

Asus 202c from 2016. They're EoL, so they don't get chrome OS updates. Which means the Play Store is also outdated.

Overall, they're pretty nifty. Battery life is still solid. Keyboard and case is pretty durable.

I actually have a few of these chromebooks! (You can buy them from schools) I've reformatted one with Linux. Another is Chromebook + side loaded for coding. This one is just for browsing and taking notes.

But just the thought that some old person buying a computer and going, "Lemme pick up these Google Things that are $100" only to end up with these errors makes me sad.

I lived in Salem and visited the small towns between Portland/Salem.

It's backwaters AF. Pro-Trump, people who were really angry that a dude bend the knee at a sports game.
