Love this notion americans have that the US Army is fighting for their "freedom".
That their "American way of life" (really just first world consumerism) is under threat by foreign demons only tamed by the might of the Military Industrial complex.
Doesn't matter, same consequences. Germany is cracking down on the left and this will be another figleaf. A few cables got damaged, great. You can stroke yourself to small scale eco-terrorism, it leads nowhere, in this case as in others.
