Hated one has a patreon with access to the videos.

But heres a summary-

  • proton offered $70 per signup to Proton VPN
  • hated one has never accepted sponsorships to remain unbiased but had considered this one because it was a service already recommended by him. But he still had reservations and he talks through his reasoning for why he doesn't do sponsorships.
  • during initial emails he had asked if they'd be willing to do an interview instead, similar to how other companies have done (like tuta). This was considered by proton while offer was on the table.
  • hated one asked to share communications with his community to help weigh reactions. Proton agreed and he made a patreon post asking for feedback.
  • ultimately hated one declined the sponsorships offer. Proton has since ghosted him, and will not answer emails about whether or not they are still interested in an interview. He acknowledges he isn't owed anyone's time but thinks companies need to be willing to stop treating creators as commodities and instead talk to the communities they are soliciting.
  • hated one again reiterates his long held opinion that proton is good and he does recommend it, but he never recommends putting all your eggs in one basket. ~~He recommends using protonmail + tuta vpn or tutamail + protonvpn as an example.~~

(Cis dude here) I'm not familiar with the singing angle per say but check out the trans voice help Community if you haven't already: https://lemmy.blahaj.zone/c/trans_voice_help . There are good resources there including Transvoicelessons youtube (by zhea erose) which has helped me think about my feminine voices when roleplaying. Zhea teaches in such a way that i think you could apply it to singing. Good luck!
