I've seen both of these and while they're quite good, I had no idea these would be considered the best movies of the year. Feels like we had several better movies in 2023 alone, to say nothing of pre-2000s cinema

"transwoman" is not a good term. please just say trans woman
I must be the one person who finds this useful because was just looking for it, but inv.nadeko.net was the only link that actually worked. The third link has an SSL error which is not good, and the other two never seemed to load
Fractional scaling, including support for multiple monitors with different scaling levels. The UX and visual design of (some parts of) explorer.exe + resizing / moving windows around
Have you considered functional programming languages? Haskell if you like the modernity of Python, or alternatively Perl or even Fortran if you want it to be more "like math" (albeit with a bit of book reading to get your head around them, but one of them has a wizard on the cover at least)
Didn't this happen before? Like several years ago it was hacked by the CIA
sounds like infra-materialism from disco elysium
People on this site spent weeks speculating about battle plans, drawing maps etc. for Venezuela, and none of it mattered. I doubt the US should be any more conventional in how they deal with China

Personal side note
I was asked previously to give an update on trans UK stuff at some point, but the government is being very secretive about future trans policy / law at the moment so there's not really been any big "story" yet. Things are still gradually getting worse for trans people but the feeling I get is the negative response to new government policy / the supreme court decision was greater than expected so they're reassessing strategy. Feelings aren't news though, and a lot of the smaller 'real' stuff doesn't feel worthy of a newspost. This at least provides an insight into how Cass / the NHS is looking at the ongoing crisis of transgender healthcare in the UK, but it's also not terribly surprising at this point.
I think Syria was more important as the first "big success" for Trump which led to Venezuela and now this. Syria seemed very hard to take in the past and now closely mirrors what they expected from this conflict, kidnapping Maduro was more an ego boost
