Here's hoping some good comes out of Milton, maybe it'll distract the US from supporting the entity at a critical point the resistance can take advantage of.

My fear is less what they'll be saying and more what they'll be doing. The Israelis have shown themselves incredibly evil and petty, I can't imagine they don't have a particularly nasty atrocity in the works to dump on the anniversary of the flood.

Comrades, are pinned posts authoritarian?

Maybe don't go around making inflammatory geopolitical comments in public if you only just started paying attention to this conflict in 2022

It's unlikely Kamala Harris will ever be elected president, she's not electable as shown by her primary performance where she dropped out after polls showed her losing to Andrew Yang (holy shit that must've stung) in her home state where she was the sitting senator.

But at the same time I don't think Biden has another four years left, and Trump has plenty of time left to fuck up his own campaign. So in the end, this woman is probably gonna be the president at some point if Biden eeks out a win

Unfortunately I don't have a long enough history of employment yet to qualify for unemployment in my state.

lmao this lemmitors comparing Hexbear users to 4channers shit never gets old. When you liberals meet someone far to your left it must really break your brain for you to lump us in with fascists.

You know what I almost never see referred to as edgy out of hand? People who don't want to fully abolish the US prison system, which to this day kills far more people far more often than the Soviet gulag system did shortly after the end of WW2. And that's really strange considering the US prison system is designed from the ground up to maintain a pool of slave labor by incarcerating racial minorities on bullshit drug offenses. Personally, I'd much rather prison be used to keep dangerous reactionaries from causing trouble while they're being reeducated.

I really enjoyed his Man in Cave video, so I took a look at the other videos on his channel. Clocked him as fash within seconds, and asked Youtube to not recommend his channel again. What a shame.

How much damage are those RPGs doing? Never seen the aftermath of a tank getting hit with one, probably because it's very wise to get the fuck out of there ASAP after pulling the trigger. Are the tanks completely totaled or do they just need some repairs?

I was somewhat against removing downvotes when we initially did that, but wow was I wrong. Terrible reddit-tier feature that needs to be trashed.

Lemmy.world seems to be the only instance that would have been big enough to downvote us down the thread as viewed from other instances, but they defederated so we can't see them and they can't see us at all.

The rest that are federated don't have the numbers to do this, especially when you consider a large chunk of them are lemmygrad users who are posting side by side with us. So overall our higher posting activity (that is partially a result of the lack of downvotes changing how we interact) results in Hexbear user heavy discussions rising to the top of threads even as viewed from other instances.

To see the whole structure, go over to lemmy.ml or lemmygrad, find this thread there, then scroll. Toward the bottom you'll find a sort of underworld in this thread of lemmy.world users downvoting lemmygrad users into oblivion.
