I was mostly whining that modern mp games all try to be an esport without consideration for fun or game design, or even the fact 99% of people dont have the time to sink in thousands of hours in a game to become something approaching good. So mostly free time, I can be good at video games, I simply no longer have the time or motivation to be.

It was, we had very strict farming limits to cut down vehicle kills and people leaving, and we also had what we called Pentagon budget cut nights, conquest maps without vehicles. Well, actually each team had one jeep to their name and otherwise all you had were your two legs. This made us extremely popular since most people would get frankly really tired of vehicle tryhards amassing kills (although im guilty of this, I had thousands of hours in helicopters), and driving like a maniac in a jeep with two friends in the middle of panicking enemy infantry was hilarious, even more so when the enemy jeep eventually chased you down. Fuck i really miss that server.

I just can’t handle the level 99s with 300 ping who somehow manage to rush you and whip out a shotgun in a second and a half after traversing half of a section of the map were supposed to have taken 5 minutes ago.

Like call me bad or whatever, but i fail to see how I’m supposed to get on that level in a 10 year old game that struggles to get past 500 players daily?

Oh god I actually tried playing the latest one, I think I lasted like, an hour. I was so shaken I actually had to go outside and smoke a few cigs to calm down , idk why but horror games fucking destroy me even though i know its all fake.

Unfortunately on rs2 vietnam the top players fucking memorize spawn points, prone in a bush and mow you down 30 times in a row while you struggle to guess what bush theyre in while your team loses the round. Fuck that shit.

Yeah sadly im utterly uninterest in most types of management sims and RTS games, JRPGS and the likes also bore me to hell, i think that might be due to the fact the only game i could run on my parents computer before i got my own was HL2 and its episodes, it really kind of shaped my expectations and taste in games.

I do love Planet Coaster though, that game is such a joy to play.
