People will disagree but for me no other seasons have reached the heights of the first one. The others are fun to watch but the mystery of season 1 is great and this feeling never returns to the show.

But what is missing? What’s your sort order? Hot or scaled work really well for me. Are you just looking at everything or did you pick communities to follow? How do you discover new communities?

I‘ve been seeing similar comments pop up a few times already and it always confuses me. Aside from some niche interests, lemmy feels very much alive to me and there are plenty of discussions to join.

I‘m quite enjoying it, it’s a great game and I really enjoy the Roman theme.

That said, I‘m deeply disappointed by the AI loading screens. Do they not have concept artists anymore whose art they can use for this? According to the reports it seems like they generated the images and had humans touch them up and just forgot to replace the AI only images with the fixed versions.

In Germany there’s Otto which is okay. I try to buy more from specialized shops these days like alternate or mindfactory for pc parts, Bauhaus for household items or directly from manufacturers when it makes sense.

I only ever buy from amazon if items are not available elsewhere or unreasonable more expensive which was 3 times this year.

Come on, where are AI deepfakes if you need them?

Yeah, we need studio Ghibli to do it!

This does look quite bad. What a shame, I bought the game at lunch and it was buggy and unstable. I assumed it will be improved and fixed over the next years. When I tried it a few months ago it had most of the same flaws including instabilities which are a deal breaker for this kind of game. And now they essentially killed it.

I watched it and honestly don’t remember much of it now. I loved the first 3 and 4 was quite forgettable.

Something something sunk cost fallacy.

I mean the whole website is a joke at this point. Check the major events timeline on this page. It’s completely ridiculous.

Neato was bought by Vorwerk and as far as I can tell, the Kobold VR7 is a successor to Neato‘s robots. So it doesn’t seem to be all that dead. The VR7 has great hardware but it’s software is a bit lackluster.

This does unfortunately happen multiple times per day. Sometimes it’s smaller incidents where the tram driver can get out and collapse the car’s mirror. Other times the owner of the car comes out of a nearby house after the tram used its bell extensively (like today) and moves the car. And then there are times when police needs to get involved to tow the car which often takes upwards of 1 hour.

The truly infuriating part is that if the tram damages a poorly parked car, the transportation company will have to pay the damages. Poorly parked vehicles never get fined and the owners will only need to pay if the car ends up getting towed.

Why do we accept that drivers sabotage a city’s public transport infrastructure like this?
