Yah this doesn’t belong here. Berkley never supported trump. Clark County was narrowly won by Harris. I hate MAGA too, but I don’t see how dunking on the collateral damage is helpful.

Because if you block someone who is annoying you, you won’t get annoyed by them anymore. It’s pretty great.

There’s no way in hell this administration will release anything that implicates republicans, so don’t get excited over that. However, of course I want to see everyone who is involved no matter what party they are in. It’s just that get ready for a release of “the Epstein files” with only democrats named and know that isn’t the whole story.

Oh, man. I remember that. I hated shrub but I had to tip my hat then. That was genuinely impressive. I felt the same way when Wendy Deng protected Rupert from the pie.

The same respect they showed Biden? As much as I hate Trump, I don’t think I could ever treat him that badly.

Give us Arizona too for a backwards J shaped country.

I’m not aware of any major strife between Czechia and Slovakia. I may have missed it. It would obviously be harder in the US, where the divide is more urban vs. rural than regional, but I wouldn’t say it’s never been done.

We should have let them go the first time they tried it. What was Lincoln thinkin’?

/s, sorta

And if that’s true and it was wrong then, it’s still wrong now.

I like him better when he’s sleeping. It’s the only time he shuts up.

Pretty happy. There’s universal healthcare, there’s decent investment in infrastructure and when there’s corruption, people tend to go to jail. There are two main parties and although things are bitterly contentious between them, neither one seems to be radically rewriting the social contract. It’s not perfect of course, but seems like paradise compared to the country I moved from, which sadly has fallen to the fascists. Of course, there’s a giant authoritarian country next door that keeps saying they are going to invade us, so it probably won’t last.
