They're running a shareholder vote to pay Elon something crazy like 52 Billion dollars. The pay package was initially struck down in a court case after it was approved by the board of directors so now it has to be voted on by shareholders. Many institutional shareholders are voting no because it would tank the value of Tesla's stock while the insane retail investor cultists are voting yes to transfer their own money to Elon Musk
Just cause the post-Cold War government sucks and there were Nazi collaborators present doesn't mean there aren't/weren't anti-imperialist figures from those nations. The Baltic SSRs couldn't have existed without local Communist parties run by people from the Baltics. Just look through the leadership of those parties, for example Johannes Lauristin.
Also don't forget Disco Elysium was made in the Baltics and is influenced by how bleak these countries feel for the people who still believe in a better future
This genuinely might be more of a PR blow to Israel than if they just got kicked out initially
This is timecube level of not conveying a message well
Cuno would get me too high and then tell me I was gonna feel like that forever
So does it looks like Milei will be able to pass many of his ideas into law? From a cursory reading of what the powers of the Argentine President are, it seems like he'll struggle to legislate domestic policy with the small minority of seats his party holds in the Upper and Lower Houses
The Canadian government has arrested Tarek Loubani, a doctor who was previously arrested by Egypt in 2013 for attempting to enter Gaza to provide aid, and in 2018 was shot in both legs by the IOF. He was arrested for...spraying ketchup on the wall outside of a Pro-Israel MPs office. What a joke of a country
If we're doing gnosticism I'm gonna go take the Cainist position and say we can only be free from posting when we have experienced every possible kind of post in our life
That's the failed settler state of Rhodesia
Just like when someone would pick Oddjob in Goldeneye
The idea that media companies in the the west are subservient to the interests of capital and the military industrial state isn't even a "tankie" take on the left. Similar ideas have been espoused by many people across the left, the most famous of which being Manufacturing Consent by Noam Chomsky.
The others like Disco Elysium and Signals have been said so I'll add Tunic! I love the artstyle and the puzzles in this game are insane, definitely not everyone's cup of tea but one of my favourites.
spoiler
decoding the Trunic language was one of the most accomplished moments I've had in gaming, along with solving the golden path. And then learning there's an entirely different hidden language in the music of the game is a whole other level of insanity
