Because he was the first in a while to really give red meat to the base. Smarter Republicans view him as a necessary evil in order to rile up support. Then he presided over a relatively okay economy and gave financial support during the pandemic. Most reps view him as a reminder of the pre-pandemic economy who actually tried to appeal to the base. This was done through racism and social issues of course but that's enough.

There's also something to be said about his anti-charisma. It's like the McDonalds dinner for the football guys that twitter liberals went crazy over. Even though it was pretty weird, the average person still likes their McTreats and liberals shitting on it makes them seem out of touch. Donald Trump's weirdness and anti-charisma reflects the average American. Every attack on his weirdness backfires and mainstream liberals are too brain-broken to try to convince people on policy.

He broke their brains in 2016-2020 and now he literally can't do any wrong because people hate to admit they were wrong.

ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS STOP SENDING FUCKING MISSILES AND MONEY UNCONDITIONALLY.

Damn, that McDonalds visit really did numbers for Trump.

No, they're gonna delay it a week before to keep the rest of the world on edge while our politicians just edge to it.

A wife also has the right to know if her husband is cheating. It's not about ownership, it's about STDs. Everyone is entitled to make informed decisions about who they have sex with.

I know situations can be complex but safe sex and informed consent is the backbone of the LGBTQ+ community and I don't think we should throw it away to get some extra dunks.

Obesity will probably be the biggest crisis of the future. We're watching the equivalent of 40% of a generation taking up smoking a pack a day.

I do have hope that Gen Z will be a better but even my formerly fit friends are starting to look a bit chubby after college and they're not slowing down.

Majority of people regain significant weight after losing it.

The majority of people also don't make meaningful dietary changes. They just eat the same things but less for 2-3 months and act surprised when going back to the old lifestyle results in weight gain. I've lost a significant amount of weight and have kept it off. It was very easy to lose the weight if you avoided ultra-processed stuff but maintaining while still occasionally eating that shit is nearly impossible.

Childhood obesity is abuse. Ultra-processed food should be illegal or severely regulated, institutional changes should make a good diet and exercise easier. But the fat acceptance movement is not our ally in this. Anymore than drunk driving acceptance or smoking acceptance should be.

I've heard the pagers were used by their medics as well. It definitely wasn't at targeted attack on military members for sure though.

Also, you can't exactly detonate bombs in a public place without involving civilians in some form.

The worst thing about this is we're going to destroy the earth to make shitty pictures and stupid nonsense articles.

I can at least understand cars and industry as they're kinda necessary for the vast improvements to quality of life but AI is just making things more shit.

I wonder if the judge not allowing them to have a defense back fired on them. I feel a jury would be far more likely to convict a moral cause if the cause was able to make their own case. But by refusing to even entertain that idea, the jury saw the whole thing as illegitimate.

Having open communication in a relationship is probably the biggest cheat code that isn't taught to straights. I'm early on in a relationship and I felt a bit unsure on something so we had a conversation about how we felt. That solved the issues and I also felt a lot closer to her.

Imagine if I was dating a cishet person. I would have had to let that fester because talking to the person you're closest to is bad somehow. This is exactly why I don't non LGBTQ+ people as a general rule.
