To be fair, even if in the US legally, ICE is stopping you. And then shipping you off to some other foreign country's jail.

US can issue domestically without issue.

Wasn't tanking the bond market like the first thing Trump did in his second term? Or, I guess the uncertainty his "policies" result in (whether intentional or not) has tanked the bond market.

That's why he wants Greenland.

This might by why someone within his regime wants Greenland, but Trump?... No. I don't think any reasoned conclusion matters in convincing Trump. It is entirely more likely Trump was convinced by things like "no other president could do it", "we can name it Trumpland" or "it's center is filled with cream".
