I assumed USSR tbh but that might make more sense

Where are the goldfish-brained dipshits who always come out of the woodwork to call you a conspiracy theorist and say "yeah we did regime change in the past but not now"?

where did they even lose 20k+ vehicles to? Can't just be in transit right?

edit: I say 20k because its 20k MORE than the discrepancy last year at this time

edit 2: I did a little googling, seems like for the past year+ they're keeping production at full bore and just trying to incentivize more demand but it isn't there (for teslas, some other brands are garnering more interest). There are overflow lots within a few miles of most of their dealers, plus probably more elsewhere?

I was thinking of people outside of lemmy entirely, but yah

Honestly its possible I was just thinking of the youtuber who taught a pug to do a nazi salute

yeah, but this approach can be generalized to any service that you are logged in to really. VPN helps but really you just can't open signed-in tabs of links from untrusted sources

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

this should apply 10,000% to canarymission ngl

people sharing links to copyrighted material (mega links to patreon content, links to video game repacks, etc.) and instructions. Probably not illegal for the site to host since its just links, and ancillary to the primary purpose of the site, and it probably helps that we aren't hosted in the US, but still a bit questionable, enough to cause some headaches at a minimum if someone really wanted to come after us.

If we actually attract serious attention from feds I doubt copyright would be the worst of our concerns though. More likely is just DMCA complaints and the like. Not sure how those work when you're hosted in EU, I'm sure there's some amount of reciprocity but idk the details

I forget the details but I think it doesn't block all interactions with that instance and its users, just posts from comms on that instance or something

there were? If it was the US I'd say FBI entrapment but idk about EU
