In addition to being more cost efficient, square footage is at a premium. I bought a PC when things were going well for me, but then my living situation changed and it sat in the closet for a couple years. The old Playstation doesn't take up any additional space because it can sit behind the TV that's always being used anyways. 

Now that I've finally organized my space enough to fit a computer desk I've gotta deal with either using Windows or taking up Linux as a full-time hobby and learning how to make an Nvidia card work with it. It'd literally be easier to just sell it and buy a ps5 if I only cared about gaming. 

A. hospital staff definitely don't wear Crocs, they're actually forbidden at every hospital I've worked at for being open-topped

B. The last time I bought Crocs they were 75USD for an adult and 35USD for babies sizes. That's not far off the price of actual running shoes

Eta: Cytokinesis takes place during the M phase simultaneously with PMAT, but is a separate part of the cellular process. 

I watched it too and noticed that there's a lot of "added detail" which doesn't make sense, noise for the sake of noise. Also the main scene they tried to highlight had an umbrella move into the scene, covering the text on the overhang. It was so perfectly timed that I can't help but think they did it intentionally to hide that this AI also fails with text. 

I get the impression people in the fediverse aren't aware that people pad their social media posts. 

"Americans aren't ready..." and "as a Californian..." are meaningless statements that just help a post fit into a known meme format rather than having any actual relevance to what's being stated 

I'd need a good reason to use my PC. The one I bought a few years back has, at most, 50 hours of use since coming out the box. Based on all the Linux communities posts, I'd spend more time than that just installing distros and troubleshooting my graphics card. I suspect the main reason people haven't switched to Linux is bc 99% of desktop computers are owned by corporations not people 

I wonder how many people in the comments here are also the ones saying "come on Americans, overthrow you government" it's easy to be a tough guy when you know you're never gonna have to do anything but leave comments online
