You still hear the odd "Flat Screen TV" comments these days and it's like buddy the only CRTs on the market are antiques for hobbyists and they cost more than a basic TV.

Pyrrhus (brought to the future by time machine): Hey it's me Greek King and generally considered one of the best Ancient Generals of all time, do you guys still remember me?

Me: Yeah we even named a type of victory after you.

Pyrrhus: Neat. Is it a good victory?

Me: ...

Yeah this. Like it didn't activate in the Falklands War for a bunch of reasons, but it would've had the USA wanted to bomb and overthrow Argentina's government.

Which they didn't as it was an anti-communist military junta.

From what I've heard a lot of young people in the DPRK do watch pirated K-dramas and listen to K-Pop. Like it's in Korean, it's free due to piracy, easily accessed etc.

The government doesn't really care as its not going to turn their society capitalist magically like watching game of thrones won't make you a monarchist/feudalist. Plus until recently peaceful reunifucation was a big goal etc.

Similarly they watch Chinese dramas and listen to their music. There's a Korean-Minority so media/subtitiles/dubs made for that market.

A real leader would have black-bagged all the supreme court judges (maybe not the dissenting ones) the minute they made that judgement to prove a point.

I've always though a return of WW1 style bicycle troops would be cool in a piece of near future media. Like between fuel shortages, proliferation of EMPs and various ways to track and detect tech, armies start deploying them again.

Jake is regularly beefing online with chuds and red scare adjacent people (but I repeat myself).

A while back one of them unearthed a HD porn video Jake was in where two very attractive dommes do a bunch of stuff to him including make him eat his own cum at the end.

It was meant to be "this you?" own. But he was like "yes". And lots of people (like myself) were like "he's so lucky", "he just like me fr" etc

Taken with a grain of salt. But in China, there's old laws on the books for breaking up the marriage of soldiers by having an affair. I believe it goes both ways but controversially it has been used relatively recently to send a guy to prison for 10mths. (https://www.sixthtone.com/news/1718)

But apparently (I heard this on twitter but I'm trying to find a better source), there's a case bouncing around their various courts where a wife of a PLA soldier had an affair with a woman. And the judges are trying to work out if they recognise lesbian relationships on the same level as heterosexual, which would be a landmark precedent (albeit one that might send the woman to prison) or if they accept that lesbians are exempt from the laws against cucking soldiers.

And like if true it's kind of a funny set of possible outcomes. (Though they might just strike the law down too)

The funny thing is the aesthetic and safe option is steam punk copper rails/handles/surfaces everyetc.

Copper kill bacteria and cleans itself. But it's not used due to costs.
