From what I've heard a lot of young people in the DPRK do watch pirated K-dramas and listen to K-Pop. Like it's in Korean, it's free due to piracy, easily accessed etc.

The government doesn't really care as its not going to turn their society capitalist magically like watching game of thrones won't make you a monarchist/feudalist. Plus until recently peaceful reunifucation was a big goal etc.

Similarly they watch Chinese dramas and listen to their music. There's a Korean-Minority so media/subtitiles/dubs made for that market.

And the judges are trying to work out if they recognise lesbian relationships on the same level as heterosexual, which would be a landmark precedent (albeit one that might send the woman to prison) or if they accept that lesbians are exempt from the laws against cucking soldiers.

And like if true it's kind of a funny set of possible outcomes. (Though they might just strike the law down too)
