Rural hospitals have been getting shut down for years now due to it not being a great money maker, it’s the same reason rural Americans wouldn’t have to their door mail access without it being included in the Constitution.

Even without taking population density into account, access is only going to get worse when hospitals keep shuttering.

Why is it so important for you for it to be her fault and only hers? If it’s so obvious that it’s made of nuts why would the person who gave it to her say it wasn’t? If it’s so stupid to leave that no rational human being would ever consider it why would the school let her do it?

You’re talking about a minor. If it was so stupid for her to do this stuff, then every other person and adult involved was at least as stupid or worse.

Like, yeah, if you have a life threatening allergy you should be appropriately cautious. Schools also should never have “just let them leave” to be anywhere near their list of medical emergency responses to begin with. And you shouldn’t feed someone with food allergies something if you aren’t positive what the ingredients are. Multiple people can do things wrong in a way that results in someone’s death.

I was going to say I was impressed this wasn’t some stupid ass conspiracy about Natives causing it with controlled burns, but frankly I even doubt these fucks know that’s happening.

This whole conservative California hate grift relies entirely on poorly educated people and people who have just never been here having no idea how big California is. You can drive 12 hours down the highway full speed and still not be done driving through CA. There’s no way that undamming a river that doesn’t even feed into our reservoirs could have affected us, but it sounds plausible if you think “in the same state” means a couple of hours away at most.

That can’t be good for like… something. I don’t know what because I’m not a car guy. But rims and suspension seems like a good start.

Just be very sure you trust the list owner, as some have already started doing shit like turning them into grudge lists once a bunch of people subscribe, using lists that are popular for leftist reasons to mass add trans people without subscribers knowing, etc. I think Bluesky has been cracking down on that sort of thing, but it’s also something they can only act on once they know about it.
