The answer is that they don't want to lower the value of the dollar. This is something that people like Yanis theorized under the principle of 'looking for the true grand strategy behind the madness'. But Occam's Razor applies here and Trump's government is not shy of its contradictions. They want to have their cake and eat it too. They want manufacturing at home with lots of jobs, but also automation to drive costs down. They want everyone to keep using the dollar, but they also want stronger foreign currencies so they can reindustrialize. They want to raise revenues from tariffs, but they also wanna produce more at home. They want to extract concessions and get foreign countries to buy more of their products, but won't do anything about poorer countries' debts to them meaning that they can't buy shit because they are broke. They wanna industrialize, but don't want to do anything that goes against the financial economy or has an inkling of industrial policy (outside the military, that is).

The only real, straightforward thing we have is that the US is doing to itself what it has done to countries abroad. A shift from the tax base away from industry, production and taxation of wealth and towards taxation of consumption. Tariffs as a way to give tax breaks to the richest. The devolution of the middle class into a sub-proletarian that is unable to sell their labor anywhere because the rich account more than half of all spending and luxury goods do not create a lot of jobs. This is the tailend of a process that started With Carter and Reagan only now being led by extremely incompetent people.

I guess the next 5 year plan is coming out next year so we'll know the answer to this question then. Directly or indirectly.

If a business coup couldn't stop FDR, what makes people think that another one could stop Trump? Why would they want to? All that matters to a capitalist is their relative power. Trump is offering them income tax cuts on the backs of taxes on american consumption. That's all there is to it. The American Empire literally doesn't matter to an oligarch as long as they get to keep living their best life. There's no patriotism, there's no love for the game, there's only class consciousness and as long as Trump is a reactionary capitalist and a member of the oligarch class, he'll be in their good graces.

its raising money to pay for the social security they are gonna abolish

in more serious news. every dollar regular americans pay in import taxes will pay for income / capital gains tax cuts for the wealthy. once they raise import taxes they'll look into raising sales and consumption taxes too, also with the excuse that they'll cut property taxes or something else, without saying the only beneficiaries will be the top of the bracket.

jackson hinckle is an asset of jason hinckle. it is known

In all seriousness occam's razor applies here. Ansarallah is not interested in who's a MAGA communist and who is a Twitter Liberal. All they care about is this guy is putting them on a good spotlight. That's all they need concern themselves with.

I think the best way to describe it is a security competition between Israel and Turkey. Israel keeps boosting the kurds and portraying itself as a defender of minorities, looking for whoever they can in the south that would support their occupation. Erdogan has to respond to the nationalist and religious demand inside Turkey for reprisals against Israel so he talks as big game as well. They still do business behind closed doors without really trusting one another.

Basically, between Israel's landgrab and Turkey's support for the new government in Damascus you have two frenemies of convenience who are united in their relationship with the US and in shutting out Iran but otherwise angling to see the final shape of that sudden victory against Assad's government. Hence all the 'will they or won't they' in regards to Russia keeping their bases in Syria, which is suddenly supported by Israel just as counterbalance to Turkey.
