And said it would be a minimum of nine months IIRC...
He initially agreed before Biden took the ceasefire public, then he backpedaled as you mentioned. He then agreed the following day.

Hamas proposed a permanent ceasefire in place of this agreement, and Israel declined. Now we’re back to waiting on Hamas to accept the temporary three-phase ceasefire with open negotiations for permanence.
It’s been tough to keep up on the order of events with news sources releasing articles at different times.

The "pause" bullshit basically just means the genocide will continue after the hostages are handed over.

This feels like a fuckin merry-go-round. And everyone knows how it’s going to turn out. The US and/or Hamas will roughly agree on something that could lead to a truce, and then Bibi will throw it out the window for some made-up reason, or just because he’s feeling obstinate on that particular Tuesday.
Israel should never again be anything but a pariah state.
