I think that the main thing this reveals about the bluesky admins is that they haven't thought that hard about harrasment, which is weird to not do if you're trying to launch a new social media platform.

Blocking trashy, racist, etc is one of, if not the first thing that should be included and they couldn't even be bothered. Not giving me hope.

An unfortunate oversight, definitely. Acting like it was an intentionally malicious choice or that it makes bluesky so incompetent they should shut down is a huge reach, though.
